pan feeding system, the newest type of automatic feeding that is in different shapes such as : round, oval and butterfly . The plate distribution system in the plate feeder is such that the grain is passed through a pipe inside which a screw feeder is placed along the pipe . At certain distances from this pipe, there are gaps to which the plates are connected and it has a valve through which the amount of inlet feed into the plate can be adjusted . The plate feeding system can be used for both poultry raised on the bed and chickens raised in cages . Also, various feeds such as mesh, flour, pellets, etc. can be transferred by the auger feeding system and consumed by poultry

  • In the pan feeding system, pellet or feed is not associated with environmental contaminants, such as manure, feathers and other poultry waste ( broiler, laying hen, breeder, etc.) and therefore is not contaminated .
  • This feeding system improves the feed conversion ratio of broiler chickens due to the prevention of throwing and minimizing throwing .
  • As mentioned before, the plate feeding system has the ability to adjust the feed entry to each plate according to the age of the bird .
  • Due to uniform distribution and lack of sorting feed, flock uniformity is very good.
  • In this system, each feed pan is used for 50 broilers .
  • In pan feeding system, because of using wire and winch to adjust the height, adjusting the feeding pipe height according to the age of the flock is done more easily than the bucket feeding system or chain feeding .
  • The pan feeding system has a lower service and maintenance cost in comparison with other feeding systems such as chain feeding or bucket feeding, and its depreciation is less and it is easier to work with the plate feeding system .
  • In this system, because the required feed is supplied from the galvanized silo ) at the head of the saloon and is spread throughout the breeding hall, the waste of feed is greatly reduced .
  • Because the pan feeding system is using winch to adjust the height, when loading and unloading chickens to send to the slaughterhouse, feed pipes can be raised easily by a winch

  • It has a long life, low depreciation and is quite economical .
  • In the early days, feed should be placed in the right amount inside the plate trays . Because large amounts of feed can be easily contaminated and cause an unpleasant odor, in which case the chicken refuses to eat the grain . From the tenth day onwards, hanging meals should be used . The feeding height should be adjusted in line with the poultry feeder to prevent the feed from being spilled by the poultry..
  • If you use a chain feed in the hall, shake it every two hours to encourage the chickens to eat . The feed in the feeder should be consumed completely and then new grain should be added to it.
  • Be aware that chickens prefer to eat large feed and may not eat crumbs and small feeds that contain minerals that are good for their growth and remain inside the feeder
